On a recent trip to Kyoto, I had been planning to enjoy an Inarizushi and Udon noodle combo for lunch at Fushimi Inari Taisha.
Inarizushi is a classic Japanese dish made of vinegar-seasoned rice wrapped in a sweet and savory pocket of deep-fried tofu called ”aburaage”. The rice is gently seasoned and nestled inside the tofu pouch, creating a delightful blend of flavors and textures. It’s a popular and convenient snack.
