I had the chance to see an umbrella spinning performance in Asakusa during the New Year’s holiday. She started with spinning a simple white ball using an umbrella, and then gradually moved on to more challenging feats like spinning round ring, Japanese tea cup and angular masu box. It was truly impressive.
