The first place to visit on my Kyoto trip was Fushimi Inari Taisha. Last time, I couldn’t hike up to the summit of the mountain because of the rain, but this time, the clear blue sky of spring welcomed me.
If you’d like to hike to the summit of the mountain, it can take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Additionally, keep in mind that during peak tourist seasons or on weekends, there are often crowds, which could slow down your progress. I recommend allowing some extra time when planning your hike.
